Bean, Bush - Tendergreen (Organic)

Tendergreen bush beans are fast and reliable, producing stringless pods that are great for fresh eating, freezing, or canning. Sow directly after the soil warms, and harvest continuously to encourage more beans. Plants are compact and easy to grow in small spaces.

Bean, Wax Bush - Cherokee Black

Cherokee Black is a wax bean with bright yellow pods and distinctive black seeds. It's disease-resistant and productive, with a flavorful pod that's a solid choice for gardeners wanting something a little different from a standard green bean.

Beet - Golden Detroit

Golden Detroit beets produce sweet, golden-orange roots that don't bleed color when cooked. Sow seeds in succession for a steady harvest, and thin seedlings for proper root development. Young greens are also excellent for salads.

Cabbage, Chinese - Vitaminna

Vitaminna is a loose-leaf Chinese cabbage with dark green, crinkled leaves and a mild flavor. It's cold-tolerant and slow to bolt, making it a good pick for spring or fall planting. Harvest young leaves for salads or let the plant mature for stir-fries and soups.

Solar Yellow is a Danvers-type carrot with golden-yellow roots that reach 6 to 7 inches in length. The flavor is sweet and crisp, and the color holds up well in cooking. Thin seedlings early for the best root development.

Blue Hopi is a traditional heirloom flint and flour corn developed by the Hopi people, prized for its striking blue kernels and higher protein content. It thrives in hot, arid climates and is most often ground into blue cornmeal for tortillas or cornbread.

An Italian heirloom with rosy-lavender, cream-shaded fruit and creamy, rarely bitter flesh. It does best in full sun and moist soil, and makes an excellent slicing eggplant.

Gourd - Apple Large

Apple Large gourds grow into a rounded, apple-like shape, reaching about 7 inches tall and 6 to 8 inches wide. They're a fun, low-maintenance choice for fall decorating and craft projects once cured.

Herb, Basil - Lettuce Leaf

This Japanese basil variety has large, crimped, sweet-smelling leaves similar to Italian basil. It's a versatile culinary herb that's been used for centuries to aid digestion.

Herb, Basil - Thai

Thai basil brings anise and licorice notes to the classic basil flavor, with glossy green leaves and purple stems. It's a staple in Southeast Asian cooking and thrives in warm growing conditions.

Lettuce, Leaf - Sandy AAS (Organic)

This is one of the most intensely colored purple pak choi varieties available, with deep purple top leaves and green undersides. The flavor is tender and mild, suitable for baby-leaf harvests or full maturity.

Pea, Snow - Oregon Giant (Organic)

Oregon Giant produces large, crisp snow pea pods with excellent sweetness. It's resistant to powdery mildew, mosaic virus, and fusarium wilt, making it a reliable choice for home gardens.

Pepper, Hot - Cienfuegos Orange F1

A habanero-type pepper with a fruity heat that ranges from 300,000 to 400,000 Scoville units. Plants are uniform and early to mature, producing heavy yields of small, intensely hot fruit.

Squash, Winter - Table Gold

Table Gold is a golden acorn-type winter squash bred for high productivity in small spaces. The flesh is tender with a nutty flavor, and the ribbed, bright orange skin stores well.

Tomato - Cocktail True Red F1

A find from the 2018 Tomato Trials, this determinate cocktail tomato sets heavy clusters of 2-ounce red fruit. It's a great size for salads and snacking.

Tomato - Mountain Pride F1

Mountain Pride was developed for reliable production at higher elevations. It produces round, crack-resistant, 8-ounce red tomatoes that ripen all at once on bushy, determinate vines.

Watermelon - Crimson Sweet (Organic)

A classic picnic watermelon averaging 25 pounds, with sweet, crisp red flesh and resistance to anthracnose and fusarium wilt. One of the easiest melons to grow at home.
