1. Prepare green beans by washing well and cutting off the ends.
2. Steam the beans for about # minutes. While the beans are cooking place a small handful of craisins in a bowl of hot water to rehydrate.
3. While the beans are steaming, chop up the bacon and cook. Remove cooked pieces and set aside. Cook the onions in the leftover bacon grease and set aside with the bacon bits.
4. Place the cooked green beans in a bowl and toss with butter. Top with the bacon, onions, and craisins. Salt and pepper to taste.
