    Since seeds of weeds fall to the ground not up to a raised bed this also helps with the amount of weeds in your garden. Rabbits and other animals do not like to stretch out because they are more vulnerable to predators. So raised beds that are over say 24” are less likely to be on the varmite dinner plate.

    I want to start a garden on newly purchased acreage with an older home. I don’t think it has been used for gardening. Biggest problem is the abundance of moles. How can i get rid of them, as they would likely destroy my crops.
