How to Grow Passion Altari Korean Radishes

Prepare a bed of well-drained soil in full sun, and work the soil down as far as possible to ensure straight roots. Sow seeds in rows 18 inches apart, and thin seedlings 4 to 6 inches apart. Fertilize only as needed to prevent excessive leaf growth. Keep the soil moist and treat pests and diseases as needed.

Harvesting Passion Altari Radishes

Passion Altari radishes should be harvested when the root begins to crown above the soil. Grasp stems firmly at the base and pull directly upwards. If you have difficulty pulling the roots out without breaking the stem or leaves, try using a trowel or hoe to loosen the soil.

Try not to damage the tops! They are also edible and delicious. Save them to use in salads or a variety of Korean dishes.
