Growing Sweet Rain F1 Hybrid Sweet Pepper in the Vegetable Garden
Start seeds indoors 6 to 8 weeks before the last expected frost, sowing 0.25 inch deep in a warm seed starting mix. Hold soil temperatures between 80 and 90 F for germination, which takes about 7 to 14 days. Once nights stay reliably above 50 F, transplant seedlings 12 to 18 inches apart in rows spaced 24 to 36 inches apart, into full sun with rich, well-draining soil.
