Growing Organic Dwarf Sugar Grey Snow Pea in the Vegetable Garden
Direct sow Organic Dwarf Sugar Gray seeds as soon as the soil can be worked in early spring, about 4 to 6 weeks before your last frost date. Plant seeds 1 inch deep, spaced 2 to 3 inches apart, in rows 18 to 24 inches apart. Peas germinate best in cool soil and tolerate a light frost once established.
Provide a trellis, fence, or twiggy brush for the vines to climb, even though this is a compact, dwarf-type variety. Harvesting Dwarf Sugar Grey Snow Pea

It was selected and prized for its compact, early-producing vines at a time when most peas grown were tall, later-maturing types.
