C. moschata (122 days) Musquee De Provence is a French heirloom that was introduced to this country by Vaughan's Seed Store in 1899. One of the most distinct pumpkins you could grow with deep ribs and a skin tone that could only be described by an artist. The flesh is deep orange, thick, dry and very rich complex flavor. Approx 200 Seeds/oz
Typical size is 6" by 13" and weigh 13 pounds, but they can get much bigger. Excellent market seller because of the sheer beauty and a repeat customer once they taste Musquee De Provence. Very good keeper. Remember those pumpkins from the moschata group like lots of heat to develop. Make sure they get plenty of sun and even a heat sink like a Southern facing brick wall if you are in the far North.
