Growing Non-GMO Spurred Snapdragon Linaria Flower Seeds
Spurred Snapdragon linaria is very adaptable, easy to grow from seed, and can either be sown indoors or out. For earliest blooms, begin 6-8 weeks prior to the frost. Linaria has a wildflower habit and may also be sown by broadcasting directly after the frost. Blend Spurred Snapdragon linaria seeds with sand to increase visibility during sowing and broadcast mix over a 10-square foot area and evenly rake and lightly tamp into soil.
Spurred Snapdragon linaria is native to cool Moroccan summers and performs well in shade during long summer months. Trim plants to provide proper air circulation and avoid overwatering as linaria does not perform well in poorly drained soils. When transplanting seedlings indoors to outdoors, it is important to acclimatize them slowly to their new environment; Put them outside for a few hours a day and gradually increase the duration until they are hardy enough to transplant. While young, they require constant moisture until established.
