Growing Non-GMO Sweet Pea Early Multiflora Mix Flower Seeds
Soaking the seeds overnight in water will boost germination time for indoor or outdoor sowing. Sow the seeds directly into the soil and they will be growing all summer long. The best time to plant for most climates is early in the spring, as soon as the ground is workable; this can mean late winter for some areas. It is essential to get these seeds out as early as possible. Don’t wait for the last frost to pass. Loosen up the soil before planting and optionally incorporate well-rotted compost to ensure maximum soil fertility and organic matter content. Provide a trellis or support for the long vines that will develop.
Promptly remove any dead or brown blooms; this will encourage more flowering throughout the summer. If growing in zones above 8, you can also plant these in the fall for winter blooming. They usually reach their prime just in time for Christmas! Add mature compost or fertilizer a few times throughout the season.

About Sweet Pea Early Multiflora Mix Garden Seeds
Although the name may indicate an edible flower, we do not recommend consuming any part of this plant. This variety is not in the same genus as edible peas (Pisum saticum). Early Multiflora Mix Sweet Pea flowers are not edible.
These sweet peas can also be used as cut flowers for home flower arrangements and bouqets. They add bright colors and a terrific aroma to any bouquet or centerpiece. To harvest as a cut flower, simply snip off the bloom where it branches off from the central stem. Keep in cold water to prolong its vitality. Change out the water every day.
Expect bright and large blooms.
Sweet peas generally originate from the Mediterranean, specifically Sicily, southern Italy, and the Aegean Islands. This specially selected variety is much shorter in length than traditional sweet peas.
Note: Sweet peas require temperatures below 60°F to initiate blooming. Once they have bloomed, they have higher temperature toleration.
Although it is not necessary for most growing zones, starting these indoors will ensure the earliest spring blooms. After 2-3 weeks, transplant them outside after hardening off.
