This Japanese burpless cucumber hybrid is easy to grow and a generous producer of 8-inch long cucumbers, up to 1 1/4 inch in diameter. It is well known in Japan and perfect for warmer climates that don’t regularly have extreme heat above 90℉. Soarer will produce a beautiful crop over about six weeks. It also has gorgeous golden blooms that are attractive to pollinators! Approx. 1,316 seeds per oz.

How to Grow Soarer Cucumber
After the last frost date passes, sow seeds directly into the soil outdoors. Keep the soil temperature between 70 and 85℉. Cucumbers are warm-weather vegetables and do not do well in temperature extremes. If you seed indoors 2-3 weeks before the last frost, you will get cucumbers about 2-3 weeks earlier. Fertilize when the first blooms appear and periodically for the rest of the fruit-bearing season to encourage higher yields. Mulching or sowing a cover crop on the bare soil and at the base of the plant can improve soil moisture levels during the hottest time of year. To save space and have an easier harvest, train Soarer to climb a trellis or fence.
Harvesting Soarer Cucumber
Harvest when the cucumbers are between 7.5-9 inches long, uniformly green, and firm. A prompt harvest when they are ripe encourages the plant to continue fruit production for multiple weeks!
