This trailing cress variety produces round medium-green leaves that can be sauteed similar to kale. As an aquatic, fast-growing herb, Watercress has been used in ancient civilizations such as Greece, Egypt and Rome"where historical figures like Hippocrates grew Watercress as a medicine for his patients to help regulate the bloodstream.
Non-GMO (Nasturtium officinale) Watercress plants grow as fast-growing perennial herbs. As aquatic flowering plants, watercress will develop low-growth reaching 9-12" tall.
