40 to 50 Days until mautre. Brassica papa afar ruvo. Sorrento Broccoli Raab Seeds. Annual. Heirloom. Non-GMO. Open-pollinated. “Rapini,” is a separate moniker for the flowering Brassica. This is a quick broccoli to grow and matures in less time than its cousins. Plant in the late summer and harvest in early fall or plant early in the springtime to have a late spring harvest. This broccoli will not bolt in warm weather. Approx 9,000 seeds / oz.

Expect uniform heads and reliable production. The florets will be medium to large in size, with blue-green leaves and a turnip-style, arrow shape. Broccoli prefers cooler temperatures. In fertile soil that is well-drained, sow seeds in late summer or the early spring. Make sure to keep soil moist and not to over-water.
Harvesting Sorrento Broccoli Raab
This Broccoli Rabb is fully harvestable at 40-50 days. Harvest broccoli when buds are firm and tight. Cut buds as they appear for a continuous harvest.
Broccoli can be harvested to regrow. Just cut buds as they appear and allow for side shoots and regrowth to occur before harvesting again.
Sorrento Broccoli Raab is considered to be gourmet. Stir-fry or sauté. Many asian dishes call for Broccoli Rabb, as its flavor is slightly bitter. To prepare, rinse well and separate the stems. Try pan searing with butter or follow any Asian recipe calling for Broccoli Rabb
