Growing Chester Blackberry Roots
Plant roots in spring in full sun and fertile, well-drained soil. Set roots so crowns are just below soil level, spacing plants 3-5 feet apart in rows 5-6 feet apart. Provide trellis support for semi-erect canes. Water regularly during the first season to help with establishment.
