Growing Wando Pea Treated Seeds in the Vegetable Garden

Direct sow Wando pea seeds 0.5-1 inch deep in fertile, well-drained soil as soon as the ground can be worked in spring, or in late summer for a fall crop. Space seeds 6-9 inches apart in rows 12-24 inches apart. Although bushy and upright, some light support can improve air flow and harvest ease.

Keep soil evenly moist, especially during flowering and pod set. Mulching helps regulate soil temperature and conserve moisture. Companion plant with carrots, radishes, or lettuce.
