Hello. I want to grow an edible cover crop that can overwinter well. What do you recommend?

What is a good cover crop for Tucson, Arizona?

    1. What cover crop will work well in an area that is mostly shaded? This would apply mainly during late summer months. I have been successful with your cover crop mix in fall through spring, when the trees are less leafy.

    2. What are some techniques to keep the squirrels, birds, and chipmunks from eating the seeds before they’re sprouted?

    Thank you.
