Growing Non-GMO Sorbet Series Viola Flower Seeds
Sow Sorbet Series Viola seeds indoors 8-10 weeks before the final frost. Violas are very delicate and are not recommended for direct sowing unless conditions are perfectly ideal. Maintain Viola seeds in complete darkness for germination at approximately 50 F. Then place them beneath fluorescent grow lights for 16 hours per day, with 8 hours of darkness. Harden off seedlings before transplanting them outside to a shady, cool spot in the garden, or an equivalent location indoors. In mild-winter climates, violas can be started in late summer for fall/winter flowering.
When transplanting seedlings from indoors to outdoors, it is important to acclimate them slowly to their new environment. Put them outside for a few hours a day, gradually increasing the time until they are ready to be transplanted. It is important to deadhead the flowers regularly and provide the plants with adequate water and nutrients to promote healthy growth and numerous blooms.

About Sorbet Series Viola Garden Seeds
Sorbet Series is a European wildflower native to Spain and the Pyrenees mountains. Many names know it throughout the world, including Heart's Ease, Heartsease, Heart's Delight, Tickle my fancy, Love-in-idleness, Come-and-cuddle-me, Jack-jump-up-and-kiss-me, or Three Faces in a Hood.
These viola blooms and leaves are edible and delicious! They are often used to flavor and garnish drinks, teas, cakes, salads, and more. They are said to have an earthy or spiced flavor and pair well with many other fresh ingredients.
Violas can be grown as annuals or perennials to suit everyone.
The name "viola" and the flower are symbols of innocence, modesty, and decency. This is because many have observed that the flowers are slow to peek out of their leafy beds in the spring. The various colors of violas can all have different sub-meanings as well, including happiness, fidelity, or love.
