Growing Green Arrow Pea (Treated) in the Vegetable Garden
Plant seeds 0.5-1 inch deep. Sow directly outdoors as soon as the soil can be worked in early spring. Space plants 3 to 4 inches apart with rows 12 to 24 inches apart. Keep soil moist but not waterlogged.

"When growing Green Arrow peas, my biggest tip is never to underestimate soil prep. These peas thrive best in rich, well-drained soil. I always mix in plenty of organic compost before planting. This provides them with the nutrients they need to grow quickly and remain healthy. Because the seeds are treated, germination is usually reliable, but I like to soak them overnight to speed things up a bit. Plant them 3-4 inches apart. It’s tempting to cram them in, but giving them room to breathe means fewer disease issues. Support is key. Even though Green Arrow peas have an upright habit, I always use trellises or netting. It helps keep the plants off the ground, improving airflow and making harvesting way easier. Keep an eye on moisture. Peas don’t like soggy feet, so water deeply but less often to encourage strong roots. I also watch for aphids and blast them off with a strong spray of water rather than chemicals. Last thing: harvest regularly! Picking pods when they’re firm and plump encourages the plants to keep producing. Fresh peas from the vine are just unbeatable"
