Plant the bulbs 6-8 inches deep with the pointed end facing up, and space them about 4-6 inches apart to allow for adequate air circulation and room for growth. For containers, ensure there is a minimum of 2 inches of soil below the bulb for proper root development. The soil should be well-draining, rich in organic matter, and slightly acidic to neutral (pH 6.0-7.0). These tulips thrive in full sun, requiring at least 6 hours of direct sunlight daily.

Foliage should be left intact after the blooms begin to fade, as this helps the bulb store energy for the next season. To improve perennial blooming power, ensure the bulbs are planted in a location with excellent drainage to prevent rot.
