Italian Roma is preferred for its thin skin and tender meat which makes for a world class cooking experience.
2. Amish Paste Tomato Seeds

The San Marzano tomato is noticeably thinner, sweeter, and far less acidic than the classic Roma.
4. Roma VF Tomato Seeds
Determinate. A recent improvement to the celebrated Roma tomato, Roma VF benefits from all the advantages of being a Roma-style paste tomato, boasting higher tolerance to Verticillium (V) and Fusarium (F). Firm, meaty, and plum-shaped 3-4‚ long fruit, Roma has long since been the preferred tomato for homemade sauces, pastes, purees, juices, and canning. Roma tomatoes boast a slightly higher amount of acidity and blend well with some sweeter San Marzano or Amish Paste.
5. Red Pear Tomato Seeds
Indeterminate. Though most famously cultivated as a Yellow Pear, the tenacious, easily grown Red Pear is a delightful variation to the internationally celebrated crop. Just like traditional Yellow Pear, the Red Pear produces the same delicious 1-2‚ long teardrop-shaped tomatoes. Red pear tomatoes are thin-skinned paste tomatoes ideal for any number of culinary fares. Pear tomato is currently a featured crop maintained outside the Smithsonian Institute.
6. Yellow Pear Tomato Seeds
Indeterminate. Golden yellow teardrop-shaped 1-2‚ long heirloom cherry tomatoes, Yellow Pear tomato is widely known to be one of the sweetest tomatoes with the least amount of acidity. Despite the tomato being native to the Americas of the New World, the Yellow Pear was first developed and marketed in Europe towards the end of the 18th century.
