Zones 1-7a: These zones experience cold winter weather known to reach freezing temperatures over an extended period of time. During the month of November, it is best to limit direct sowing to woody perennials and wildflower seeds that will sprout in the spring months. Indoor sowing of microgreens, sprouts, and herbs is a great way to continue gathering a fresh harvest though!
