Tom Thumb is a shelling pea that is a true miniature pea that produces 12" tall vines and 5 to 6 peas per pod. This makes it perfect for those with limited space. Grows well in pots. No need for staking or poles. This pea can take temperatures down to 20 degree F. Was used extensively in cold frames over the winter in the South.
