Benefits of Plant-Tone Organic Espoma Fertilizer

Plant tone ensures bigger vegetables, faster blooms, deeper roots, greener foliage, and vigorous growth. The nitrogen greens up the foliage, making photosynthesis easy for the plants. The phosphorus and potassium help with flowering and fruit production. It also contains good amounts of critical nutrients like calcium, magnesium, and sulfur. This blend is crafted to feed your plants immediately and continue to release nutrients for weeks. It is derived from feather meal, poultry manure, bone meal, alfalfa meal, greensand, sulfate of potash, and sulfate of potash magnesia. It also contains live and active beneficial microorganisms totaling 6 million colony-forming units (CFU) per gram.

Directions for Use

Can be used on all flowers, vegetables, trees, and shrubs.

When to apply: For trees and shrubs, apply it in the spring and late fall. For flowers and vegetables, apply it once a month during the growing season.

For new plantings, mix 1 cup into the soil used to backfill a planting hole.

For garden beds, mix into the top 4 inches of soil at a rate of 4 lbs per 100 sq. ft.

For established shrubs, use 1 cup per foot of drip line diameter, but double the rate if the diameter is larger than 3 feet. Sprinkle onto the soil around the drip line.

For established trees, use 3 lbs per inch of trunk diameter and double it for trees over 6 inches in trunk diameter. Sprinkle onto the soil around the drip line.

For established flowers and vegetables, apply 1 cup per plant monthly during the growing season. Sprinkle onto the soil around the drip line.

For new potted plants, mix 2 cups into each cubic foot of soil before planting. Feed established plants one teaspoon for each 3 inches of pot diameter each month.

Always water after applying.
