Corn Seeds - Ornamental - Bloody Butcher

Plant a few seeds in rows 3 feet apart with 2 feet between plants. Plant seeds 1 inch deep in soil in full sun. When seedlings are 4 inches tall, thin them so that there is only 1 seedling in each spot. Use fertilizer 3 or more times in the growing process.

It is time to harvest after 110 days when the kernels are fully swollen. To remove ears from the stalk, twist or cut them off. Ears should be harvested when young. This corn is excellent to make cornmeal, or eat as corn on the cob. Its beautiful color also makes it a great ornamental piece.
