The Ultimate Hydroponic Microgreens Seed Mix

The Ultimate hydroponic microgreens seed mix is a quick and easy seed mix to sow, seeing as the mix requires no presoak. Simply, make sure that your hydroponic grow medium is sufficiently moist and proceed to scatter the seeds across the surface of the now wet medium. You want to make sure that your microgreens seeds are evenly spaced so that they can breathe while they germinate and so the seedlings do not get intertwined. Spray the seed mix down with a spray bottle and cover the germinating microgreens seed mix for 2 to 3 days, checking on it at least two times a day to ensure that the medium is still wet. If it feels like it is drying out, spray down with the spray bottle and cover it again. After a few days your seeds should have germinated, and the seedlings should be reaching up as they grow--essentially, looking for light. Now is the time to uncover your ultimate hydroponic seedlings and expose them to light. Indirect light from a window will do the trick. Just be sure to rotate your tray twice a day, so that your microgreens seedlings grow straight. Check the moisture of your medium every day and begin gently pouring water into the tray, as your microgreens mix will require more water as it grows. After about a week and a half from the planting date, your microgreens enter the harvest stage for about another week. Cut your microgreens just above the medium line and incorporate into whatever culinary adventure you might be on!
