Thank you for a great article and the heads up! It helps to understand why there is a shortage and why prices are higher for tomato-based foods. I think I will order my seeds for 2023 early!

So interesting to learn about the reasoning behind the price increases at the store. I have so many tomatoes have seemed to have ripened all at the same time and I’m considering frying to freeze them now! Thank you!

uh.. yes sure blame it on climate change and don’t talk about California’s water laws and policies that keep water from farms. Georgia and other states have had great tomatoes. Nothing to do with climate change progressive control of humans concept. As you know, the climate changes every millisecond! Global warming was a disproven concept so you changed the name to accomplish the goal.. China now has millions in lockdowns claiming climate change. Europe and UK are undertaking it as well… and talk in America by Democrats in power is to destroy freedoms and liberties. At some point you won’t be allowed to grow your own food as Bugs are the new protein for all. So please be a little more honest in the “You’ll own nothing and you’ll like it” Narrative of the Great Reset people you voted for.

    Hi Ash;eigh
Nice article. WHen you want to discuss preserving tomatoes, you might like to check out dehydrating. There are many ways to preserve the goodness, nutrition and enjoyment of fresh fruit. You might like Darcy Baldwin’s
“The Purposeful Pantry” https://www.thepurposefulpantry.com, or her blog on FaceBook where all of us dehydrating addicts chat and share success and failures. It’s all about sharing and learning from each other. It sounds like you already have a good start with your article on the True Leaf Market site. Thanks for inspiring others.
