Seeds like wheat, radish, broccoli, arugula, kale, Swiss chard, beets, sunflowers, and more have proven to perform well in the Aquatree growing system. Simply spread your seeds over the microgreen screen tray insert and lower them into the growing tray. The water will rise enough to provide oxygen and nutrients to your sprouting seeds. Watch as the seeds sprout and grow into perfect little microgreens. To harvest, simply remove the tray insert. Using a sharp knife, cut the dangling roots directly under the insert. The microgreens can easily be pulled up out of the microgreen tray with a small portion of the root still attached. Storing them with this little bit of root still attached can keep your micros fresh and ready for use. When sprouting, it is best to clean your seeds ahead of time, especially for large seeds prone to be dusty. Cleaning your seeds ahead of time can help maintain a clean and healthy hydroponic growing system.
